About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrician Fire Technician to join our electrical services team based out of our Tuggerah office. In this role, you’ll be responsible to lead the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical and fire safety systems. As a key member of our operations team, you’ll provide high-quality service to clients and offer technical support and guidance to other technicians. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. This role will involve working at various client sites across Central Coast and Newcastle regions to deliver high-quality service including:
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and repairs on fire and life safety systems
Install, program and commission fire detection, warning, control, and intercom systems for minor works projects
Undertake fire panel programming
Assist the team with preparation of quotes and proposals for clients
Communicate daily with the Service team to ensure timely completion of scheduled works and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
Guide and mentor other technicians by providing leadership and technical support
What we are looking for:
Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the fire industry
Electrical Licence
NSW Drivers Licence
Extensive knowledge of fire systems with a strong technical ability
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and BCA
Proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service
Proficient in basic office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with SimPRO or similar job management software is highly regarded
As a condition of employment, you must undergo a working with children check, a police check, and a pre-employment medical.
