With over a century of property industry experience, our team understands and drives successful real estate projects across residential, industrial, rural, commercial, and government sectors, including retirement, aged care, agriculture, mining, hotels, office leasing, shopping centers, and infrastructure.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a leasing senior associate to join our established national Property team, focusing on commercial, industrial, and retail leasing.
File management of leasing matters (acting for lessors and lessees)
Providing clients with legal advice
Reviewing case law and legislative changes
Conducting legal research and analysis
Managing workload and prioritizing tasks
Understanding client operations and strategy
Managing client relationships
Mentoring junior staff
Engaging in professional development and MCLE compliance
About you:
At least 5+ years PQE
Strong academic record
Knowledge of PEXA and Revenue NSW procedures
Familiarity with NSW LRS Guidelines related to leasing
Experience with various leasing transactions
Ability to review lease amendments for lessors
Strong property law knowledge, negotiation, and drafting skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and with supervision
