Overview
At Meadow Lane Early Learning, we believe in nourishing the whole child – mind, body and spirit. Our new Maroochydore centre provides a warm, community-focused environment where children (ages 0-5) thrive through play, nature and healthy living. As our Nutrition Leader, you'll play a key role in creating wholesome, child-friendly meals that bring our culture of care to life.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals/snacks for our children
* Cater to allergies, cultural and dietary needs with care and creativity
* Develop season menus that support children's wellbeing and introduce them to healthy eating habits
* Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety standards and compliance
* Order supplies and manage stock
* Work alongside our educators and families to make food a valued part of daily life at Meadow Lane
We're looking for someone who brings
* A love of cooking and creating healthy meals
* Creativity and passion for nutritious, child-friendly food
* Ideally experience cooking in an Early Learning/Childcare Centre, or similar
* An understanding of food safety and hygiene (or willingness to complete training)
* Strong organisation, reliability, and attention to detail
* A collaborative approach – you will be an important member of our team
