Senior Consultant - Technology Risk - Financial Services
Overview
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you'll use your passion for Technology Risk with Financial Services experience to provide IT Risk management services to our financial services clients. You will work with banking, insurance, and wealth management clients to develop and deliver exceptional Technology Risk Services while maintaining work‐life balance through hybrid working.
Your key responsibilities
* Support financial audit teams by identifying financial reporting related IT risks, evaluating ITGC design and operating effectiveness and testing application controls
* Control assurance reporting, including GS007, ASA3150, SOC1, SOC2, etc.
* Provide technology risk services, relating to regulatory compliance such as CPS 234 and CPS 230
* Identify, evaluate and manage risks derived from an organisation engaging with a third party
Skills and attributes for success
* Financial services industry‐based knowledge and experience
* Knowledge of, and experience in, IT audit supporting external audits, controls assurance reports, internal auditing, IT risk management strategies and techniques
* Result‐oriented and commercially client focused mindset
* Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify engagement and client service issues
Additional desirable qualifications
* A passion for emerging technologies and willingness to work within a team to advise clients on how to manage IT risks
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‐paced environment with competing priorities
* Comfort to take on unfamiliar tasks and regularly learn new skills
* Maintain awareness of current industry IT trends and regulations

* Salary: competitive salary open to negotiation based on skills and experience (AUD $91,000 – $110,000 including superannuation)
