Job Description
Lead financial reporting and compliance in line with ASX and accounting standards
Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end processes, delivering Tier 1 financial statements
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making
Oversee financial operations including payroll, management reporting, and transactional accounting
Manage external audits and ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness
Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks
Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Contribute to financial strategy and long-term value creation
The Successful Applicant
CA qualification and a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
5+ years' experience leading end-to-end finance functions in a small to mid-sized business
Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial systems experience (Xero, Accurri, Fathom, Phocas)
ASX-listed reporting experience highly desirable, ideally in biotech, healthcare, or life sciences
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
