Job Description
About therole
The Nurse Practitioner plays akey role in our busy and fast-paced primary health care clinic, managing triage and treatment for patients. This role involves providing advanced clinical care, assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans in accordance with the BRAMS Model of Care. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered care, ensuring timely and effective treatment for thecommunity.
- Competitive Salary of $ 150, 000 – $ 165, 000 per annum depending onexperience
- Annual remote allowance of $ 1, 300 perannum

About you
To be successful in this role, you must address the following selectioncriteria:
- AHPRA registration as aRegistered Nurse with endorsement as aNurse Practitioner.
- Advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope ofpractice.
- Demonstrated clinical problem solving skills including conceptual and analyticalability.
- Excellent communication skills with ademonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships in acomplex organisational context, including cross-culturalsettings.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Previous experience within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service isdesirable.
