I'm partnering exclusively with a well-known national organisation undergoing major transformation — and they urgently need a strong, technically sharp Financial Manager to step in immediately.
This is a senior contract role (with genuine temp-to-perm potential) covering a critical gap before the incumbent leaves in early January.
Perfect for someone who thrives in complex environments, can steady the ship, and wants real visibility with Group.
The Role:
You'll take full ownership of:
Monthly & quarterly reporting to Group (>$1bn shareholder)
Balance sheet integrity – provisions, GL recs, controls
Banking & cash-flow management
Internal + external audits
Fixed assets & depreciation
AASB16 / lease accounting
Payroll oversight (500+ employees)
Tax reporting & compliance
This sits at the centre of the business — highly visible, highly impactful, and absolutely hands-on.
Who You Are:
They're looking for one of two archetypes:
CA from Audit (Assistant Manager / Manager level)
A seasoned Senior Financial Accountant / FM
Someone who's been there, done that, with excellent detail orientation, strong balance sheet skills, and the ability to mentor a team.
What You'll Bring:
Strong technical accounting capability
Ability to "own the numbers" and stand behind the balance sheet
Confidence to challenge, elevate risks, and propose solutions
Strong communicator — you'll work closely with Sime Darby Group
Ability to lead, coach and review work across a team of seven
Calm under pressure — this area has been through change, and you're here to stabilise it
