The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

Mandatory Requirements
* Entitlement to work within Australia
* A Registered Nurse – holding a current Registration Certificate as required by AHPRA
* A minimum of five years post-graduate experience and knowledge of Peri operative Services or demonstrated ability to learn
* Commitment to professional development of self and others
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team
* Proven ability to analyse and interpret information; assess, plan and manage clinical care
* Advanced data management / computer skills
* Demonstrated communication skills in both written and verbal form
* Demonstrated commitment to patient centred care
* Demonstrated commitment to meet KPIs and associated quality improvements to ensure compliance
* Proven Understanding of ESIS requirements, including regular auditing and escalation of patients on Planned Surgery Waiting List
* Previous high-level use of iPM, Excel
* Commitment to improvement and innovation in Perioperative practices
* A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date
* Provision of valid Working with Children Check
* Provision of an NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions
DESIRABLE:
• Post-Graduate qualification in Peri-operative Nursing
