This role is for you if you have proven experience in people management and the ability to manage all supply chain functions at the factory in order to meet production and business needs at required performance levels and at optimized costs.
**Position Overview**
In this role, you will be required to manage, guide and develop the factory Logistics team to ensure:
- Master Production Scheduling is consistently delivering achievable Production plans to meet customers service requirements
- Material Management Planning makes raw & packaging material available on time and quality at best overall costs for seamless manufacturing
- Material Handling runs warehousing operations for raw & packaging material and for finished goods within Good Warehousing Practices guidelines
- Smooth logistics operation by effective communication with all internal partners at factory, Supply Chain, Procurement and external partners as Suppliers, Customs and Transport providers
- Monitoring and management of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality regulations within the department
**What Will Make You Successful?**
To be successful, you will:
- Have previous experience in a logistics / supply chain management role, preferably within a FMCG production environment
- Degree qualification in relevant field with APICS Certification preferred
- Possess excellent people management and development skills, with a demonstrated ability of creating a continuous improvement culture
- Comprehensive problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Effective computing skills, preferably experienced working with SAP software
