We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader for the Head of Learning Leadership & Professional Development role. As part of the senior leadership team and reporting to the Chief People Officer this is a pivotal position that will shape learning experiences, leadership pathways and professional development initiatives across our diverse workforce.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of learning and professional development strategies that build capability across the organisation.
* Partner with leaders to diagnose learning needs and design impactful programmes, frameworks and pathways.
* Drive leadership capability through innovative learning initiatives, coaching and development programmes.
* Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) annual learning catalogue and blended learning solutions.
* Ensure learning is inclusive and fit‑for‑purpose, meeting the needs of our Supported Employees, frontline teams and leaders.
* Collaborate with teams across People & Wellbeing to align strategies in capability, culture, diversity and inclusion.
* Deliver high‑quality governance reporting and evaluation on learning effectiveness and return on investment.
* Lead and inspire a team of Learning Specialists and Digital Content Creators to achieve outcomes and foster innovation.
About you
You are a strategic people-focused leader with a proven record in driving organisational capability. You bring the following:
* Demonstrated success in leading Learning & Organisational Development functions in complex service-focused organisations.
* Strong ability to design and deliver contemporary learner‑centric programmes that lift performance and leadership impact.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills to engage senior leaders and partners.
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Adult Education or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Expertise in project management, programme evaluation and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
* A values-based leadership approach that empowers others, embraces change and drives continuous improvement.

Salary: $165,000 - $175,000 per annum.
