Senior Library Officer Role Overview
The Senior Library Officer is responsible for providing leadership to a non-hub library, ensuring excellent customer experience and promoting the library's services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and assist library staff in delivering frontline services to library users.
* Take charge of the non-hub library and provide guidance to staff as required.
* Develop and deliver promotional programs to increase awareness of the library and its services.
Requirements:
* Cert IV of Librarian and Information Science or relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience in a library environment, customer service, or other relevant field.
* Able to undertake regular weekend work under any 5 in 7 arrangement.
* Current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
