About the role
Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) is seeking a Cath Lab Radiographer Tutor on a permanent full-time basis at our new Midland Private Hospital Clinic. This position combines hands-on clinical practice in a busy Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory with responsibility for overseeing the Cath Lab education and training program, including the development and delivery of learning frameworks, clinical competencies and training protocols for radiographers.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you will:
* Working across a busy Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
* Assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including PCI, angiography, pacing, and structural heart procedures
* Operating and maintaining imaging equipment to a high clinical standard
* Collaborating closely with cardiologists, nurses, and cardiac physiologists within the cath lab
* Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and compliance
* Support Radiologists and other relevant specialists as required
* Report and build a professional relationship with the Technical Supervisor
* Provide clinical education, supervision and mentorship to radiographers
* Monitor training progression, provide feedback and support continuous professional development
* Promote best practice in imaging, radiation safety, infection control and patient care
* Promote a positive and safe workplace culture aligned with PRC's mission
About you / Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science (Medical Imaging) or recognised equivalent
* Registration with AHPRA and the Radiological Council of WA
* Previous experience in interventional cardiology and imaging
* Strong clinical leadership
* High level of organisational and time management skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development
* Strong patient-centred approach with a focus on safety and quality care
