An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced cardiac sonographer to commence work in our cardiology practice (Sydney Cardiac Specialists) in an iconic part of Sydney – The Italian Forum, Leichhardt.
We are a growing cardiology and specialist medical practice with core values in providing quality care and support to all our patients and staff.
Our appointments are NOT rushed.

Position
Cardiac Sonographer – required to work Thursdays.
The practice also has a pediatric cardiologist, and any skills in pediatric sonography are very welcome but not a requirement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Full accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) is mandatory.
Competent with performing and reporting Transthoracic Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms in adults.
Experience in managing a wide variety of echocardiography cases.
Able to work independently with a high standard of clinical reasoning skills in the performance of echocardiography procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and reliability.
Willing and able to connect patients to ECGs, Holter Monitors and 24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors.
Minimum of 1-2 years of cardiac sonography experience required; experienced sonographers preferred, but high performing recent graduates will also be considered.
Remuneration is on a "per study" basis, and varies based on years of experience.
We cannot accept VISA applicants or international students.
Permanent Residency is a minimum requirement.
