Due the release of a range of exiting new models, Iveco Trucks are experiencing significant growth and require trade assistants to strengthen our team and drive us into the future. Complementing a productive service team, you will be welcomed into our facility at Nudgee.
The role:
You will assisting technicians and service counter in their daily activities.
* Casual role
* Afternoon/Evening shift (2:00PM-10:00PM Monday to Friday)
* Maintaining the workshop, ensuring it is clean and safe at all times
* Ensure OH&S standards are maintained
* Assist technicians with their mechanical repairs
* Facilitate the logistics of trucks between sites and external repair shops.
* Assist with parts storage, allocation and organization
* Assist supervisor with administration admin tasks as required
Requirements:
* HR Drivers Licence
* Forklift Licence
* Manual light vehicle licence
* Mechanical knowledge (trade certificate preferred)
* Demonstrated problem solving ability
* Effective communication skills both verbally and written
