Our organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Manager to lead commercial relationships with largest mining customers in Australia.
This role is critical to managing end-to-end engagement across fleet management systems, autonomous haulage, battery-electric solutions, aftermarket services, and warranty programs.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as primary commercial contact for major mining customers
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at executive and operational levels
* Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contractual terms, aftermarket services, and warranty agreements
* Coordinate cross-functionally across engineering, product, operations, and service teams
* Deliver and articulate value proposition of complex technologies (e.g. AHS, battery systems, digital platforms)
* Proactively manage customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and performance reviews
* Identify and drive growth opportunities within assigned accounts
* Provide market intelligence and customer insight to support business development and product strategy
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Minimum 10 years experience in senior commercial or account management roles within mining or heavy equipment sectors
* Proven record managing large strategic accounts and delivering revenue growth
* Deep understanding of mining equipment, operations, and support systems
* Strong technical acumen, particularly in areas such as autonomy, battery-electric systems, and connected fleet technologies
* Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
* Previous experience with major OEMs (e.g. Cummins, Caterpillar, Komatsu) is highly desirable
* Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
