About The Role
Duties will include various sales and in market activities as required. This role has significant development opportunities to be obtained overtime. Flexibility and opportunity identification will be key attributes of the successful candidate.
The exact nature of the position will vary from time to time, as it is necessary for us to respond to needs of the customers. The Sales Representative will need to remain flexible and work as part of a sales team, and in line with this, may be asked to assist in other areas and perform other tasks which are consistent with their skills and abilities.
Duties expected to perform may include:
· Maintain a regular territory call cycle across specific retailers and deliver consistently high merchandising standards
· Execute planograms, seasonal changes, range updates and promotional activity with precision across multiple brands/products
· Regular merchandising for opening stores, range extension and general upkeep
· Monitor product placement, pricing, and promotional materials
· Ensure shelves and displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing
· Track inventory, identify slow-moving items, and recommend actions
· Build strong, collaborative relationships with store managers and key stakeholders
· Develop new business
· Travel to regional areas (overnight stays expected at least once per month, often for more than one night at a time)
· Provide local market feedback and activity reports
· Offer customers specials and clearance lines
· Occasionally get involved in chasing outstanding accounts
About You
· Proven experience in field sales and merchandising
· Strong hands-on merchandising capability with a keen eye for detail and presentation
· Highly self-motivated with the discipline to work autonomously and prioritise workloads effectively
· Sound computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office/excel
· A full, unrestricted driver's license with an excellent driving history
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
