About the role
We are seeking multiple levels of highly motivated and technically competent Systems Engineers, looking to make their mark on some of the most high‐profile and strategically critical Australian Defence Industry programs.
Systems Engineers will support the creation and review of contracted engineering outputs involved in delivering communications, navigation and platform management subsystems for the remaining ships in the acquisition program.
Key responsibilities
* Conducting ship inspections
* Liaising with customers, OEMs and staff to develop requirements and assess constraints
* Designing documents
* Developing test procedures and test reports
* Supporting the agreed safety program
Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrated relevant experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
* Able and willing to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
* Defence industry experience preferred.
* Degree in Communications, Electrical, Electronics, Systems Engineering or similar.
* Experience developing specifications, requirements, design and test procedures.
* Knowledge of the operation of communications equipment and systems.
* Understanding of Configuration Management practices and procedures.
