Join a reputable Commercial Builder as they grow their Pre‐Construction team. This is a unique opportunity for an Architect who enjoys early design stages, construction problem‐solving, and collaborating closely with builders and consultants without the pressure of full documentation workloads.
Working alongside the Design Manager, you'll provide valuable architectural insight across D&C projects, helping resolve design queries, construction detailing and liaising with external consultants. This role suits someone who enjoys the technical and problem‐solving side of architecture within a contractor environment.

Your Day‐to‐Day
* Support the Design Manager during tender and pre‐construction phases
* Review consultant drawings and provide architectural and constructability feedback
* Troubleshoot design and construction detail issues across D&C projects
* Liaise with external consultants to ensure buildability and design alignment
* Provide in‐house architectural advice to the wider construction team
What You Bring
* Strong understanding of construction detailing and buildability
* Comfortable working within a builder's environment alongside project and site teams
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with consultants
* Experience in education or industrial projects beneficial but not essential
