The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 717,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian. A new role awaits We have an exciting role within NDIA as APS5 Site Support Officer with multiple vacancies available nationwide. This role is with the Corporate Information and Property Branch in Property Operations. This branch is responsible for the delivery of centralised corporate services across the Agency, including delivering and managing the Agency's physical property portfolio, corporate services and shared services arrangements with Services Australia The Site Support Officer is a dedicated role to support staff onsite at our service delivery and corporate locations. This involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and our co-location partners to ensure efficient site operations and support to staff and visitors. Where you can add value As a Site Support Officer in the Property Operations section, your duties will include, but not limited to: - Monitoring daily office attendance and Emergency Contact Officer and Aggression Response Team rosters, and collating site attendance each day to support informed management decisions through established escalation channels. - Coordinating staff training for Aggression Response Team and Contact Officer roles. - Communicating site updates and issues to staff, greeting, providing site inductions, and assisting staff and visitors. - Overseeing the office's overall appearance and ensuring furniture and equipment meet property, safety and security standards. - Monitoring levels of stationery and consumables and ensuring sufficient stocks are ordered and delivered to sites. - Coordinating property repairs, maintenance, and monitoring issues via the Property Service Desk. - Engaging and monitoring third party providers for property, shared services or other corporate operations matters. - Managing issue of building passes, NDIA passes, and temporary access passes, keys, lockers, and car park access, subject to staff completing applicable processes through security and property teams. - Providing onsite support to staff for mail and fleet management, including secure key handling, car servicing and inspections. - Providing basic ICT troubleshooting to staff, submitting communal equipment replacement equipment requests through ICT support, and assisting with plug-and-play installation support. - Attending duress testing and supporting safety and security training needs. - Maintaining property distribution lists, handbooks, risk registers, business continuity planning, and workplace hazard inspections. - Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures that support the activities of the team, including resolving or escalating emerging issues. It is requirement in this role be available on-site for 4-5 days a week and able to travel occasionally. Candidates must have a current valid driver's licence. ACT – Deakin NSW – Bathurst, Chatswood, Hurstville, Lavington, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Surry Hills, Wollongong. NT – Darwin. QLD – Bundaberg, Maroochydore, Brisbane, Cairns, Chermside, Ipswich, Mount Gravatt, Robina, Toowoomba, Townsville, Woodridge. SA – Modbury, Adelaide, Elizabeth, St Marys. TAS – Hobart VIC – Ballarat, Bendigo, Berwick, Broadmeadows, Dandenong, Geelong, Moorabbin, Richmond, Shepparton, Footscray, Traralgon, Werribee. WA – Joondalup, Perth/Midland, Rockingham. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
