Here, you'll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.**The role**The Senior Payroll Officer is responsible for the day-to-day payroll operations, whilst managing and overseeing the performance of the Payroll team when the Payroll Manager is on leave.You will Participate in learning & development, payroll initiatives, embrace and contribute to team activities, and Payroll's communication strategy. You will also provide support to departments by delivering a high level of service to all customers, both internal and external.**Key responsibilities for this role include:*** Assisting in reviewing and answering Payroll Officers queries* Annual Leave, Long Service Leave & Sick Leave reconciliations* Timekeeping, ensuring costing, correct hours and rates are adjusted accordingly (including entry into PeopleSoft One Time Positive Input)* PeopleSoft reports including, but not limited to: Employee Listing, Years of Service, Employee Languages, Not worked 90+ days, Leave of Absence, and Probation Expiry.* PeopleSoft queries including, but not limited to: missing shifts, incorrect hourly rates, public holidays, overtime, back pay, annual/long service leave, sick leave hours, time in lieu, employee deductions**About you*** Previous high volume payroll/finance experience.* High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.* Experience working with various awards and agreements is preferred.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment and show initiativeOn top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
