Murray River Pet Food (MRPF) is an Australian-owned premium pet food manufacturer with a portfolio of trusted brands and growing private-label and export business. We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales strategy, driving sustainable growth and strong customer partnerships across domestic and international markets.

The Role

Reporting to the Co-CEO, this is a senior B2B-focused leadership role responsible for owning national customer and channel strategy end-to-end, including joint business planning, pricing, promotions, range reviews, and commercial execution.

The role is based in Sydney, where our office is located, with regular time at MRPF's manufacturing site in Howlong, NSW as required.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead national B2B sales strategy across Grocery, Specialty, Private Label, and export customers
* Deliver sustainable revenue, margin, and market share growth
* Negotiate pricing, promotions, trade terms, and joint business plans
* Identify and develop new domestic and international market opportunities
* Partner with Operations, Planning, Marketing, and Finance to deliver results
* Drive accurate forecasting, budgeting, sales reporting, and KPI management
* Build and sustain long-term customer partnerships

Leadership & Team

You will lead a small, high-impact sales function:

* Key Account Manager (future hire)
* Planning
* Sales administration support

About You

* Minimum 5 years proven senior sales leadership experience in FMCG or branded manufacturing
* Strong B2B commercial acumen with export customer experience highly regarded
* Track record of delivering profitable growth and achieving targets
* Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
* Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
