Overview
A full-time position (or minimum 30 hour part-time position) is available for an energetic, highly motivated individual with exceptional communication skills. You will be the first point of contact to our clients and provide administration support to our accounting team.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive workplace. Schnelle Partners is a regional CA practice providing business advisory services, financial planning, accounting, taxation and compliance services to a diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities
* Meeting and greeting clients
* Answering phones as well as email correspondence with internal and external parties
* Incoming and outgoing mail
* Scanning and filing
* Maintaining the client database
* Collating financial statements, tax returns and activity statements
* Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients
* Liaising with ASIC
* Preparing letters and other documentation for clients
* Lodgements of forms and documentation through the database and portals
* ASIC annual company reviews
* Establishing new companies, trusts and SMSF
* TFN, ABN, GST and PAYG applications
* Pro-actively chasing up required documentation
* Handling confidential information and dealing with discretion at all times
Skills and experience
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail is a must
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience in Xero is advantageous but not essential
* Must have a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* A small office requires staff to work in a highly collaborative and supportive way
* Experience working in the accounting industry is advantageous but not essential
