We're seeking a motivated Marketing Officer – Maternity Cover
This opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about building strong audience engagement with experience in content creation, marketing administration and social media and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
THE ROLE
In this dynamic role, you'll be across both the creative and the operational sides of marketing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Designing, writing, and scheduling engaging content across social media and marketing channels
* Monitoring and reporting on GCCEC's social media presence and online review platforms
* Managing event listings across multiple channels (website, road signage, EDMs)
* Liaising with clients to coordinate event artwork and offer in-venue marketing opportunities
* Maintaining and organising our image library for easy access and brand consistency
* Compiling monthly marketing and social media reports
* Assisting with planning and delivery of our annual charity event
ABOUT YOU
You're a multi-skilled marketer who's just as comfortable managing details as you are creating content. Ideally, you'll bring:
* 2–3 years' experience in marketing and social media management
* Hands-on experience managing social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies
* A knack for creative content creation, both visual and written
* Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone across audiences
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and other content management tools
* CRM experience (highly regarded)
* Video editing skills (a bonus)
* An eagle eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive, positive attitude
