About the Role
We’re seeking a highly creative and adept all-rounder to work across a variety of public and independent school projects as part of our Education Sector. Supported by a larger, collaborative team, your project delivery skills, including strong design, documentation in Revit, and delivery, will be critical to your success. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Partner with project and design leads to support the team to develop and deliver design concepts through to documentation and delivery
2. Support the project lead to develop a strong project narrative, including preparing presentation packages
3. Lead consultant coordination for design development, documentation, tender, and construction phases
4. Cultivate new client relationships and strengthen existing ones
5. Mentor junior designers to support their career development
About You
This role is well suited to a collaborative and forward-thinking Senior Interior Designer, with experience in Education typologies. We’re excited to welcome someone with:
1. 6+ years post-graduate experience with prior experience on schools, tertiary or research facilities preferred
2. Strong concept design and design development skills
3. An engaging attitude with a clear, articulate presentation style (visually, verbally and in written form)
4. Sound understanding of the National Code of Construction and Australian Standards, particularly with regards to Interior Architecture
5. Comprehensive technical knowledge of construction methodology, materials procurement and delivery of projects
6. Advanced visualisation skills including Enscape, Photoshop and InDesign
