At Danihers, we pride ourselves on our values, our people, the environment and sustainability. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and experienced Maintenance Officer to represent Danihers Facility Management in the inner Western suburbs.
You will be required to work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our sites are safe, clean, secure and regularly maintained, to work effectively, efficiently and without interruption. This position is ideal for an individual who is a true handyperson with woodwork/building experience, especially in timber, fencing and door repairs plus exposure to painting repairs. You will be required to attend to the grounds and gardens when required.
Do you have…
* Strong experience in grounds and general building maintenance, preferably in a school environment.
* Demonstrated experience working with a variety of stakeholders.
* Strong work ethics, including the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a broader team.
* The ability to work within a fast‑paced environment, working towards deadlines without losing your attention to detail.
* Exceptional problem‑solving ability and a passion to deliver high‑quality services.
* Good time management and excellent communication skills.
* An understanding of OH&S, Quality and Environmental Management systems.
* Carpentry experience or are you an experienced handy man?

* A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to apply.
* Previous experience working in a fast‑paced school environment is advantageous, but not crucial. A trade qualification in carpentry or building construction is essential to be successful in this role.
