Lead English Educator Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to lead our English department. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of language and literature, as well as the ability to teach English to all key stages.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the development and implementation of English curriculum across KS3–KS5.
* Promote a positive school culture and foster well-rounded individuals through effective teaching and leadership.
* Set high standards for student achievement and progress, and lead improvements in curriculum, teaching, and learning in English.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, adhering to best practices in safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
* QTS/QTLS with experience in strategic oversight responsibilities across KS3–KS5 English.
* A proven track record of leading curriculum, teaching, and learning improvements in English.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in education.
