About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our Blow Mould team at our South Brisbane Factory.
Reporting to the Production Manager your duties will include:
* The operation, adjustment and cleaning of blow mould and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, operational and safety standards.
* Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.
* Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals and to report excessive wastage to the Coordinator.
* Assist in maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, Cleaning in Practice (CIP) testing and recording.
We require a team oriented and skilled operator who is self-motivated and able to work varying types of shift work and overtime as required.
Essential Requirements
* Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail
* Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
* High level of attention to detail, good at fault finding/trouble shooting skills
* Strong focus on quality and hygiene
* Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles - Desirable
* Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks
* Strong focus towards health and safety
* Experience performing labour intensive and repetitive tasks
