Overview
We are seeking an experiencedPipeline Process Technicianto support offshore operations in Western Australia, working on a 3/3 roster for a 3-month campaign. The primary focus of this role is the execution ofumbilical flushing operationsto ensure system cleanliness, integrity, and compliance with project and client specifications.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining subsea production system reliability by ensuring hydraulic, chemical injection, and control lines within umbilicals are flushed, tested, and certified to required standards prior to commissioning.
Responsibilities
* Perform offshoreumbilical flushing, pressure testing, and fluid conditioning operations
* Set up, operate, and monitor high-pressure pumping and filtration systems
* Ensure compliance with project flushing specifications and cleanliness standards (e.g., NAS/ISO codes)
* Collect and analyse fluid samples; document and report test results
* Monitor flow rates, pressures, and filtration performance during operations
* Conduct line preservation and chemical dosing as required
* Troubleshoot flushing spread equipment and process anomalies
* Complete daily operational reports and client documentation
* Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and client representatives offshore
* Maintain strict adherence to offshore HSE standards and permit-to-work systems
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in offshorepipeline or umbilical flushing operations
* Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and subsea control systems
* Experience operating high-pressure pumps, flushing spreads, and pressure testing equipment
* Knowledge of fluid cleanliness standards and sampling procedures
* Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings
* Previous offshore experience on Australian projects preferred
Certifications & Requirements
* Valid offshore medical and survival certification (e.g., BOSIET or equivalent)
* Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certification (desirable)
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

This is a 3-month offshore campaign based in Western Australia, operating on a3 weeks on / 3 weeks off roster. Competitive day rates will be offered.
