Job Title: Ambulance Transport Attendant/Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Ambulance Transport Attendant/Registered Nurse. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient transport care in your community.
* Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
* Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
* Maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with established protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong problem-solving skills, independence, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of our policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, to deliver best practice and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification recognized by RFDS or DHHS.
* Successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment.
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia, along with completion of an appropriate bridging course for practice in the non-emergency patient transport sector.
* Prior experience working in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential.
* Holding a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and possessing the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
* Availability to work across a 7-day roster.
