We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated graduate to join our team in a 12-month opportunity designed to launch your career in the Australian Public Service.
As a graduate, you will contribute to meaningful work that supports the health, safety, and wellbeing of Australian workers. You'll gain access to structured learning and development, mentoring, and rotations across business areas to build your professional capability in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to projects aligned with business priorities
* Draft and review documents including reports, briefing notes, and correspondence
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
* Interpret and apply relevant legislation such as the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011
* Analyse and report on data and information
* Support governance activities including secretariat duties and records management
* Represent Comcare at external forums and participate in corporate learning initiatives
Eligibility Criteria:
* Be an Australian citizen
* Completion of at least an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 qualification (a Bachelor's degree), or equivalent by 31 December 2025
* Completion of the most recent eligible qualification between 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025
* Be willing to undergo a security clearance process
