Professional Wind Services Pty Ltd and are seeking applications for several Installation Technicians to join our team. Working an 3 week on, 1 week off roster at Macintyre Wind Farm which is located west of Warwick Queensland, and other various locations across Australia.
The successful applicants will perform the following duties:
* Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing wind turbines to conform with regulations and safety standards
* Inspecting wind turbine components to ensure equipment is not damaged or faulty
* Inspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and setting operations
* Undertaking activities such as cleaning, greasing and painting wind turbine components where required
* Performing troubleshooting
* Completing of required reports on tasks undertaken
* Completing of site specific construction or maintenance works as required by Professional Wind Services of the client
* Complete Quality Assurance (if required)
* Undertake additional supervisory roles (for applicant with appropriate experience)
The successful applicants must have:
* A Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or at least three years of relevant experience in the wind industry
* Current GWO Certificate (with a minimum of 6 months validity, or willingness to obtain)
* White Card
* Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and national police check
* Great people/communication skills and able to work in a team
Full time (salary based on 38 hours working a 3/1 roster 39 weeks).
