Hunter Valley Private Hospital is located on the fringe of Newcastle, close to the Pacific Motorway, vineyards and university. We are an independent 83‐bed facility with a 5‐theatre Operating Suite providing medical, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and surgical services. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation areas and kitchen equipment.
* Prepare meals and food for patients according to recipe guides.
* Monitor and maintain food stock levels.
* Track and record refrigerator and freezer temperatures to meet food safety standards.
* Implement the Food Safety Program.
* Liaise with management and facility staff.
* Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Certificate III in Commercial Cooking.
* Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations.
* Safe Food Handling Certificate (desirable).
* Experience in a hospital or hotel food service environment preferred.
* Available for shifts over a 7‐day roster, including weekend work.
