Role: Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps)
Location: Sydney
Essential for this role
* Experience in operations roles supporting highly available & high demand customer facing systems & products.
* Deep knowledge and hands on experience of working in a 24 X 7 operations environment supporting mission critical systems for external customers
* Previous experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in environment that has adopted SRE principles & practices.
* Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure, and container technologies such as Docker / Kubernetes.
* Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
* Strong programming skills in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
* Demonstrated experience java development and building Ops monitoring tools.
* Experience designing, debugging, and running fault tolerant large-scale distributed systems
* Demonstrated experience with software repositories such as GIT & Bitbucket
* Demonstrated experience with relational database such as MySQL, Oracle, Postgres
* Demonstrated experience in Linux system administration, HA Proxy, Apache, WebLogic, tomcat and JBoss.
