Music Mentor Wanted
Become a music mentor and empower young people to reach their full potential. Our Sound Mentoring program provides music education to disadvantaged youth, helping them develop their artistic skills and build confidence.
* Receive comprehensive music mentor training and guidance
* Mentor a young person based on your skillset (production, songwriting, singing, guitar, keyboard, etc.)
* Enriching and fun way to give back to the community through music
* Sense of reward from empowering young people and watching them grow as artists
To become a music mentor:
* Proficiency in one or more areas: music production, songwriting, instrument proficiency, vocal coaching, creative coaching
* Commitment to minimum 10 x 1-hour mentoring sessions
* Responsibility to act as a positive role model for young people
* Attend a 4-hour online Mentor Training Day
Required Skills:
* Ability to teach music concepts and techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience and understanding when working with young people
