We are growing our technical team and currently have full-time positions available in our business based in Northern Rivers NSW and southern Gold Coast QLD.
The Role: We are seeking Permanent Full-Time Copier Technicians to join our skilled service team. This is a hands-on, hardware-focused role — if you enjoy pulling machines apart, diagnosing mechanical faults, and getting them running again, you'll fit right in. The role involves regular travel to customer sites across Northern NSW and the Southern Gold Coast, so you'll need to be comfortable driving and managing your day on the road. Your responsibilities will include:
* Reporting to the Service Manager
* Performing hands-on service, repairs, and warranty work on FujiFilm, Fuji Xerox and other brands of printers and multifunction devices — both on-site and in our workshop
* Mechanical fault-finding, component replacement, and preventative maintenance on MFDs and printers
* Providing phone support for remote issue resolution
* Assisting with installation and commissioning of MFDs and printers
About You: We're open to applications from both experienced technicians and motivated juniors willing to learn the trade. A full training pathway is available for the right candidate.
For experienced applicants, the ideal candidate will have:
* Solid hands-on experience servicing and repairing mono and colour copiers/printers
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Good IT knowledge — including networks, operating systems, PCs, and print/scan software
For junior or entry-level applicants, we're looking for:
* A genuine interest in hardware, mechanical systems, and how things work
* Basic IT literacy and a willingness to build networking and software skills on the job
* The aptitude and attitude to learn copier servicing from the ground up
All applicants should have:
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-level customer service
* Neat personal presentation and strong organisational skills
* A current driver's licence
* A reliable, honest and enthusiastic attitude
Highly Regarded:
* Prior experience repairing or installing multifunction devices
* A restricted electrical licence
* A trade, electronics, or mechanical background (e.g. automotive, whitegoods, small appliance repair)
