We are looking for a talented and passionate full-time Chef De Partie to join our team at a premier dining and entertainment venue. You'll have the opportunity to manage a designated kitchen section, supervise junior staff, and assist with menu development.
The venue offers contemporary casual dining in a relaxed setting; catering to both traditional indoor style seating and an enclosed deck area with spectacular views of the marina.
* Maintain control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated sections.
* Assist with the induction of new employees when required.
* Maintain professional relationships with external suppliers.
* Prepare and cook menu items as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
* Work in conjunction with the head chef to develop and implement a menu.
* Ensure all staff follow safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and possess experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.
You will be well-versed in all kitchen areas with hands-on experience and able to follow and give directions when required.
