Job Summary:
The Storeperson/Driver is primarily responsible for performing stores functions by using physical and electronic inventory software management systems. This role is responsible for warehouse and stores deliveries, adhering to inventory management processes, providing reporting, and operating the stores vehicle for approved company pickups and deliveries to meet business needs. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Accountable for the end-to-end control of Cubic Assets located in the Brisbane warehouse and in transit between delivery/pickup locations
* Assist and support inventory management processes, work instructions and standard operational procedures (SOPs) in accordance with the company's quality system to ensure compliance
* Issue and receive inventory as per SOPs, including:
o manual handling of incoming goods
o timely data entry for receipts and movements of stock into Cubic warehouse asset management system
* Ensure all equipment is properly handled, correctly programmed, and accurately tracked (both physically and electronically)
* Track quantities, perform inventory cycle counts and periodic stocktakes, and resolve inventory discrepancies
* Monitor equipment and consumables usage and organise replenishment when required, ensuring most frequently used modules and consumables are available to meet delivery demands
* Deliver and pick up equipment returns and other items as directed between customer depots within South-East Queensland, Cubic sites, and third-party suppliers, using a company vehicle
* Manage the inbound/outbound functions including liaison with freight companies and third-party suppliers
* Process field returns from customers and Installations teams
* Accurate and timely data entry in ServiceNow to ensure effective inventory controls
* Ensure all parts are received in ServiceNow by Cubic Field Service Technicians before they leave the warehouse
* Prepare Bus Installation kits in line with SOPs
* Conduct Cubic Field Service vehicle audits, checks and stocktakes as per Cubic's processes and as directed by management
* Assist with annual audit & monthly assets reconciliation reporting and distribution to customers
* Escalate issues in the day-to-day operations to Asset Manager or appropriate leadership for resolution
* Perform workshop Return Material Authority (RMA) job creation for faulty assets and/or stock received from the field
* Share knowledge with Services team regarding inventory management processes
* Maintain sound knowledge of Workplace Health Safety & Environment (WHSE) practices and requirements
* Take an active role in resolving safety issues, participation in investigations and audits as required (i.e. manual handling and the handling and storage of hazardous materials, in particular)
* Report all WHSE incidents, potential hazards, near misses and accidents in a timely manner

Minimum Job Requirements – Qualifications/Licences
* Current, valid Queensland driver's licence with a clean driving record and no significant infringements
* Valid licence to perform High-Risk Work – Forklift Truck (LF) or willingness to obtain
* Year 12 High School Certificate (Highly Desirable)
* Certificate II or III in Warehousing Operations/Logistics or other relevant qualifications (Desirable)
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
* Demonstrated previous experience within a stores environment and in Warehousing/Logistics
* Knowledge and experience using ServiceNow
* Sound literacy and numeracy skills, including the ability to read documentation, use computers, smartphones, and perform basic calculations
* Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, hands-on work environment
* Excellent customer service skills with the desire to provide a positive outcome to stakeholders
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to develop good working relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors, representing the company in a professional manner

* Ability to perform manual handling tasks in a safe manner, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
