What You'll Do
As part of the Independent Sales team and reporting to the Field Sales Manager (South), you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers within your territory to achieve KPIs, grow existing sales, and developing a pipeline of new customers. You will also be responsible for the in-store merchandising of selected stores.
Your time will be split between growing existing business/merchandising (70%), winning new business (20%), and operational tasks (10%).
You'll be vital in:
* Building customer satisfaction and helping our customers grow their businesses
* Achieving sell-in targets for new product launches
* Sharing best practices and learnings with your team and contributing to the continuous improvement of team engagement
* Developing and maintaining a new business opportunities funnel
* Ensuring merchandised stores are maintained to Hallmark's high standards
* Ensuring your customers always get their perfect mix of products, just when they need them
The salary range for this position is $64,000-67,000 plus superannuation (FTE), pro-rata'd to 3 days per week. You'll also be eligible for our incentive program.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and experienced field sales representative who is passionate about helping people create emotional connections and helping our customers grow their businesses. You will have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to deliver persuasive and data-driven solutions to our internal and external stakeholders. You will take ownership of the performance of your territory and proactively address issues that impact it.
You must also have
* Field sales experience - essential
* Field merchandising knowledge/experience - essential
* New business experience – preferred
* Skills in selling, negotiation, and relationship building are a must
* Experience in joint business and customer planning as well as Microsoft Excel skills are desirable, but training in this area can be provided for the right candidate.
