We are looking for Project Support Officer to help support Queensland's maritime infrastructure through your strong project coordination, reporting and administration skills.
* Immediate Start – Until 30 April 2026 ((Extensions likely, up to 24 months total)

* $58/hr + Super
About the role:
Hudson is partnering with a leading state government department to recruit a Project Support Officer to assist the delivery of Queensland's boating infrastructure maintenance and capital works program.
Key responsibilities
* Provide project and administrative support across maintenance and capital works streams
* Maintain and track project schedules, milestones and deliverables
* Prepare and review project documentation, meeting minutes and financial summaries
* Support procurement and contract administration, including purchase orders and tracking deliverables
* Assist with project expenditure monitoring and financial reconciliation
* Maintain accurate records and document control in accordance with departmental standards
* Coordinate meetings, workshops and site visits, including logistics and reporting
* Contribute to governance reporting and continuous improvement across the program
About you You will ideally have:
* 3+ years' experience in project or program administration within a government or infrastructure setting
* Working knowledge of tools such as MS Project, 3PCM, SAP or similar
* Understanding of project governance, procurement and financial tracking processes
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Familiarity with TMR or other Queensland Government systems (advantageous)
