This School Officer role is part of our Support Team and works closely with our STIEs and Behaviour Support Teachers to provide coordinated assistance across the school.
In this position you will be responsible for:
* Assessing and monitoring the progress of students and identify learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies for students requiring additional learning scaffolding, including students with learning disabilities
* Assisting in the development of varying teaching methods, materials, and assessments to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom
* Gathering insights into students' individual needs and develop appropriate strategies to improve student learning outcomes
* Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services
* Ensuring overseas student’s families are provided with information on the school's enrolment requirements, application procedures, and any documentation, addressing any queries or concerns.
