Position Information
This Teaching and Learning position is a Stage 6 Head Teacher role at Killara High School, and it involves the leadership and management of Stage 6 wellbeing, attendance, assessment and reporting, parent information evenings, student academic monitoring, management of HSC workshops and a new university partnerships program. The Stage 6 Head Teacher will lead the annual Year 11 camp to Jindabyne, and develop a comprehensive study skills and academic goal setting program for Stage 6 students.
Killara High School (enrolment 1663 students, including over 50% students from a non-English speaking background) is the highest performing coeducational comprehensive high school in the NSW HSC for the second consecutive year in 2023, and it is a school with an outstanding reputation for providing opportunities where all students can excel in academic, sporting, cultural, leadership and community service endeavours.
