Role
Full time continuing (held concurrently with the Course Director role for an initial period of up to 3 years). Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus allowance and 17% superannuation). Canberra.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to undergraduate students across on-campus and online platforms in Priestly 11 subjects as well as actively contributing to ongoing development and delivery of law and criminology courses.
Course Director responsibilities
* Providing leadership and academic management of courses relevant to law and criminal justice, including curriculum development, course quality assurance and liaising with industry and professional bodies.
* Regular international travel may be required to support teaching delivery, partnership development and research collaboration activities.
Qualifications
* A doctoral qualification in Law or a related discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing.
* Completion of Practical Legal Training and experience as a practising solicitor.
* Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of one or more of the following legal disciplines as practised and regulated in Australia or comparable legal systems (Civil, Family, Commercial).
* Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-quality learning and teaching experiences.
* Proven experience in building and maintaining strong partnerships and networks.
* Demonstrated experience in course design evaluation and quality assurance.
