Care Service Employee - Carer | Point Clare, Gosford, NSW 2250 (ID 497205) - Permanent Part-Time

Location: Point Clare; Shift: Night Duty (23:30 – 07:00, Monday to Friday); Hours: 40 per week.

BaptistCare Orana Centre is seeking a Night Duty Carer to join our team. As a Care Service Employee, you will enable residents to live well by providing loving care, developing genuine connections, and supporting their well‐being. Your responsibilities include:

• Working in partnership with residents to achieve their goals by assisting with the implementation of individual care plans.
• Demonstrating kindness and respect for residents' dignity while assisting with personal care, daily activities, meals, cleaning, and general movements.
• Encouraging individual choice through understanding what matters to residents and their families.
• Providing regular feedback to supervisors or managers on resident progress, requests, changes, or concerns.

Position 1: 40 hours per week, shift 22:30 – 07:00, Monday to Friday.

• Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care Work or be undertaking Undergraduate Registered Nurse training.
• Be physically able to carry out required duties safely and efficiently.
• Have basic technology/computer skills and a willingness to participate in ongoing education.
• Understand and use verbal and written English communication.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
