Make a real difference in our customers' financial lives As a Loan Services Officer, you'll be the key to ensuring smooth and efficient loan administration. You'll handle a wide range of tasks, from processing loan modifications (rate changes, term extensions, redraws) to account reconciliations and reconstructions. Your accuracy and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Processing loan modifications (rate changes, term extensions, etc.)
* Account reconciliations and reconstructions
* Data entry into RFS/BDS (experience preferred)
* Meeting productivity and quality targets
* Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Identifying process improvement opportunities
* Adhering to all Bank policies and compliance requirements
To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:
* Proven experience in a customer service or data entry or administration role.
* Experience in banking, finance, or related industries at any level is preferred but not essential — we value skills, attitude, and potential above all.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using loan management systems (RFS experience highly desirable).
* An understanding of the National Credit Code and Code of Banking Practice (preferred but not essential).
* Strong organisational and time management skills, enabling you to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a passion of finding ways to work more efficiently.
We offer flexible work options with a hybrid model of minimum 60% on site attendance, in any of our Head Office Locations
This role is Full-time (76 hours per fortnight) and on a 12 Month Contract position based at either Bendigo or Adelaide.
