The Opportunity & How You Can Make An Impact
Our Circular Economy and Waste Management (CE&WM) team helps government, business and social sector clients navigate complexity, manage uncertainty, and address cities' most pressing challenges. Working closely with clients and stakeholders, we unlock bold strategic moves that balance commercial needs with social equity and environmental impact, creating positive and lasting change for the communities and cities of the future.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‐quality technical advice on Circular Economy strategies, opportunities and design outcomes within projects in accordance with Circular Economy design principles.
* Provide high‐quality technical advice on waste management design, compliance and safety in accordance with authority requirements and best practice.
* Provide research material, design and reporting input into CE&WM projects.
* Proactively work closely with other technical teams to promote collaboration and streamline project delivery (planning, sustainability, traffic/transport, heritage, urban design, landscape design, economics).
* Build on existing and new client relationships, contributing to business development and supporting sustainable revenue growth for the team.
Qualities & Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in Waste Management, Circular Economy, Environmental Science, Engineering or Sustainability.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Waste Management / Circular Economy. Experience within a professional consultancy is highly preferred.
* Demonstration of genuine passion about the environment, waste management, resource recovery, and circular economy.
