Trade Supervisor - Electrical (Underground Coal Mining)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Trade Supervisor – Electrical to join our team at Ironbark No.1, working a permanent 7/7 dayshift roster. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities with roles available for both longwall and development operations.
As the Trade Supervisor - Electrical, you'll work closely with the bullgang crew, spending maintenance days entirely underground and splitting the remainder of your week between hands‑on underground tasks and assisting the Coordinators with various "office based" operational responsibilities. Report directly to the Process Coordinator and support daily operational planning.
Willingness to undertake hands‑on underground maintenance tasks.
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are executed safely and in line with the maintenance plan.
Provide underground supervision of trades, ensuring compliance with site safety processes and procedures.
Assist the Process Coordinator with short‑term planning, including organising resources and equipment for scheduled maintenance.
Take a lead role in responding to breakdowns and unplanned maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively and elevate issues in accordance with site procedures.
About You
To be successful in this position we are looking for someone who is passionate about mining coal and the ideal candidate will hold:
Significant previous experience working inunderground coal operationswith at least 2-5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity.
* Relevant Trade Qualification and Tickets;
* Qld Electrical License or willing to obtain;
* EEHA Certification or willing to obtain;
* Standard 11 - surface and underground;
* Current Driver's Licence;
* Demonstrated history of working safely;
* Commitment to the achievement of business goals and outcomes;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
