Your Recent Role
This is a great prospect to join a supportive and friendly practice. You will be providing care to mainly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families, the elderly, and the wider community population across east Gippsland. Some of the main health issues you will experience in this wide-ranging role include; complex health conditions, chronic disease, diabetes, mental health and AOD.
RVTS is supporting this ACCHO to deliver a training program through their targeted recruitment stream. This means if successful, you would have fully subsidised training on a very well supported scheme to become fellowed. This is a professionally rewarding experience for a GP with a keen interestin Indigenous health, chronic disease management and obstetrics (preferable but not essential). You'll be well supported by a close-knit friendly team of practice nurses / midwives, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, visiting specialists, psychologist and allied health professionals.

Essential Criteria
AHPRA Registration – General or Specialist
Previous experience with Aboriginal Health is preferable
