Senior Practice Nurse in GP/Allied Health ClinicWe are looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse with General Practice nursing experience. We welcome individuals of all ages, races, and LGBTIQ+ communities.The Role: To be considered, you must be a Registered Nurse with Monday-Friday availability and experience in General Practice nursing. Ideally, you will have leadership experience and a strong understanding of nursing in a GP setting.This is a patient-facing nursing role managing a busy procedure room and appointment schedule. You should be confident working both autonomously and collaboratively. We seek someone proactive, adaptable to change, and skilled in prioritising workload. Excellent communication, delegation, and team motivation skills are essential. You will collaborate with the leadership team on quality improvement, process enhancements, and accreditation support.The responsibilities include:Clinical tasks such as triaging, immunisations, venepuncture, ECGsAssisting with minor procedures like wound care, iron infusions, IUD insertions, ear irrigationConducting health assessments, managing chronic conditions, and patient educationMastering Best Practice and AutoMed softwareLeading cold chain and infection control proceduresMaintaining clinical supplies and stock managementManaging recall and reminder systemsRecruitment and HR management of the nursing team (with Practice Manager support)Participating in quality improvement projectsIf interested, please submit a tailored cover letter outlining your suitability and a current CV.
