Haymans Browns Plains are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Professional in the field of electrical wholesale to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis, based in Browns Plains Queensland. You will play a pivotal role delivering outstanding service to trade customers while supporting our external sales teams.
The role would suit a trade customer service professional or counter sales representative looking to join the largest independent electrical wholesaler in Australia!
Duties & responsibilities:
* Manage sales through counter and phone interactions with trade customers
* Process sales orders, quotes and invoices accurately and efficiently
* Assist customers with product selection and availability enquiries
* Maintain stock control, inventory management, and product displays
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and counter sales enquiries in timely manner
* Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
* Collaborate with team members during busy periods to deliver exceptional customer service
* Support external sales teams with order processing and customer relationship management
Experience & attributes:
* Experience in internal sales, counter sales, or trade customer service
* Strong electrical product knowledge and understanding of trade-based environments
* Drive and ability meet and exceed sales KPIs
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship building with electricians and contractors
* Proficiency with systems such as SAP, Pronto, or similar platforms
* Strong time management and multitasking abilities
* Keen problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
* Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
* Current driver's license
* Reliable punctuality and motivation to contribute to business success
