The Opportunity
We're working with a leading national law firm seeking aFamily Lawyer (3 + years PAE)to join their highly regarded Melbourne team.
This is a unique chance to work with some of the most respected family law specialists in the country, advising a predominantly high-net-worth client base on complex and often high-profile matters.
You'll be supported by an experienced national team, but also given the autonomy to manage files, build strong client relationships, and further develop your own practice in a stable, growth-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll act on a broad range of family law matters including:
* Complex property settlements and financial agreements
* Parenting and relocation disputes
* Child support and family violence matters
* Both negotiated outcomes (e.g. mediation) and litigation in the FCFCOA
You'll work alongside highly experienced family law partners with a superb reputation across the industry.
What Were Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3 + years experiencein family law
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Experience or interest in dealing with property or complex parenting matters
* A professional yet empathetic approach to clients
* The passion to support and mentor colleagues and juniors
* Current practicing certificate and admission as a legal practitioner in Victoria/Australia
* Demonstrated experience in FCFCOA appearances and drafting court documents
